Terms of Service
What My Buddy is, what it is not, and what we each agree to.

What My Buddy is
My Buddy is provided by Axiom Ops. It is an assistance tool: it helps you ask questions, understand documents and email, fill in and sign forms, print things, and ask a family member for help.
By using My Buddy you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
What My Buddy is not
My Buddy is not for emergencies. If someone is hurt or unwell and it cannot wait, call 911 or your local emergency number.
My Buddy does not give medical, legal, financial, tax or other professional advice. It can explain what something says and help you understand it. It cannot diagnose, prescribe, advise you to change a medicine, tell you what a contract means for you, or tell you what to do with your money.
Answers can be incomplete or wrong. They are produced by artificial intelligence, which sometimes states things confidently that are not true. Where an answer matters — anything involving money, health, a legal document, a deadline, or a decision that is hard to undo — check it against the original document, or with a person or organisation qualified to advise you, before acting on it.
Filling in and signing documents
My Buddy can help you complete a form and place a signature on it, and it keeps the finished copy unchanged so it can be relied on later.
This is not a notarisation or a witnessed signing, and it does not verify anyone’s identity. It is not an electronic signature service and makes no claim about the legal effect of a signature in your jurisdiction. Where a document requires a notary, a witness, identity verification, or a particular signing service, you must use that instead.
You are responsible for what you put in a form and for what you do with it afterwards.
If you connect your email, My Buddy can read it, help you understand it, draft replies, and tidy it with labels. It can never delete your email permanently.
Nothing is ever sent without you pressing Send. Before it goes, you can change the recipient, the subject and every word. You are responsible for who a message is addressed to and for what it says, including anything drafted for you.
My Buddy points out things that often appear in scam messages, such as requests for gift cards, verification codes, or a change of bank details. This is a warning, not a verdict. It cannot tell you an email is genuine, and it will never say one is safe. Anything involving money, a password, or urgency deserves a second opinion from someone you trust.
Family help
You can connect a family member to help you. They receive only what you explicitly attach to a help request. Being connected gives them no access to your account, your documents, your email or your conversations, and you can end the connection at any time.
Using My Buddy properly
Please do not:
- use My Buddy for anything unlawful, or to harm, deceive or harass anyone
- use it to send unsolicited bulk email
- upload material you have no right to use
- try to gain access to another person’s account or information
- attempt to disable, overload, reverse-engineer or work around the limits and safety features
- use it to give professional advice to other people as though it were qualified to do so
We may suspend or close an account that is being used this way, or where we believe it is necessary to protect someone’s security. Where we can, we will tell you first.
Your things stay yours
Your documents, your questions, your answers, your signature and your email remain yours. Axiom Ops claims no ownership of them. We use them only to provide the features you asked for, as described in the Privacy Policy.
My Buddy itself — the application, its name, its design and its artwork — belongs to Axiom Ops, and these terms do not give you any right to it beyond using the service.
Availability and changes
My Buddy is offered as it is, and we cannot promise it will always be available or uninterrupted. It depends on services we do not control, including Google and OpenAI, and it may be unavailable while they are.
Features may be added, changed or withdrawn. Where a change would remove something you rely on, we will give you notice where we reasonably can. If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them.
Warranties and liability
My Buddy is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Axiom Ops is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, arising out of your use of My Buddy. Our total liability for any claim relating to My Buddy is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case those limits do not apply to you.
You remain responsible for decisions you make. My Buddy helps you understand things; it does not make choices for you and should not be relied on as though it did.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
